Student Conduct: Remind the students that the Battleship North Carolina is a Memorial, National Historic Landmark, and a museum containing irreplaceable artifacts.  Students need to always stay with their teachers and/or chaperones.  Running, jumping, shouting, rough-housing and throwing things are not permitted.
Supervision: Students must always remain under the control of a teacher/chaperone.  Tour operator staff/teachers/chaperones must quickly address any student behavior that is not appropriate.
Safety: All students must always remain on the tour route.  Always use each step on the ship ladders and use both hands.
Behavior: Students who misbehave will receive one warning from the Battleship staff.  If they continue to misbehave or show disrespect to the staff, they will be asked to leave the Battleship and return to the bus.
Respect: Students are expected to respect their teachers, respect their chaperones, respect the staff and respect other visitors.  Tour operator staff/teachers/chaperones are expected to assist the staff with enforcing this rule.
