Everybody loves that time when you get to go on a field trip! And we hope that your students will value the time they get to spend at the Battleship with their classmates. Whether they are here for an educational program or a self-guided tour, the Battleship North Carolina has something fun for you to learn and discover! Here, stories meet reality as you explore crew memories, learning how a WWII battleship worked, and how it took a team to operate such a huge vessel at sea.
North Carolina schools (and Homeschools) are admitted free to the Battleship. Schools must make a reservation. This rate extends to teachers and bus drivers. ALL chaperones can get a discounted rate of $12 when they purchase their ticket in advance. Chaperones who do not pre-pay will be charged the regular adult admission rate of $14 at the door.
When planning your field trip, please add time for restroom breaks and check-in time. We ask that all students stay with their teachers or chaperones.
