School Field Trips & Programs

Stories Meet Reality

Everybody loves that time when you get to go on a field trip! And we hope that your students will value the time they get to spend at the Battleship with their classmates.  Whether they are here for an educational program or a self-guided tour, the Battleship North Carolina has something fun for you to learn and discover!  Here, stories meet reality as you explore crew memories, learning how a WWII battleship worked, and how it took a team to operate such a huge vessel at sea.

North Carolina schools (and Homeschools) are admitted free to the Battleship.  Schools must make a reservation.  This rate extends to teachers and bus drivers.  ALL chaperones can get a discounted rate of $12 when they purchase their ticket in advance.  Chaperones who do not pre-pay will be charged the regular adult admission rate of $14.

Out of State schools (and Homeschools) are not admitted free to the Battleship.  Admission and reservations are required.

Please note that our Gift Shop DOES NOT accept cash at this time.
